SBIC

Each year, the brothers of the EGA honour the tradition of the first ever EGA event by contesting the SBIC at the two Victor Harbour courses, Victor Harbour Golf Club and McCracken Golf Club. The SBIC tradition was founded by the 8 founding members savouring the bottle of Black Label Bundaberg Rum, that now forms the coveted trophy for which the members all compete.

BBM

Not content with just one event on the EGA tour, the brothers decided to spawn another tradition with the advent of the Black Bush Masters. This event is commonly referred to as The Ashes owing to the fact that the brothers all provided two golf tees to be burned, with the ashes being sealed inside the empty bottle of Black Bush that forms the basis of the trophy.

CCC

The Cold Chisel Cup was invented to celebrate the first anniversary of the EGA. The event takes place over 12 months with the qualifying rounds finishing on 31st January each year. Each player must hand in at least 4 cards to qualify. There is no limit to how many rounds you play for the CCC as each round can make your score worse. You do not need to play a qualifying round with another EGA Brother but you must inform another EGA Brother of your intention to play a round before teeing off.
